Salon Policies

Thank you for choosing Brandy Chave Hairstylist for your hairstyling needs. I offer a relaxed and personalized salon experience as well as pride myself on providing high levels of customer care.

 

By signing below, you agree to the following terms and conditions set forth in this agreement (the “Agreement”):

 

1.     Bookings: Your name, address, email, phone number, and at least one (1) emergency contact is required for all appointments.

 

2.     Services and Pricing:  All services and prices may be subject to change without notice.

 

3.     Payment: For your convenience, I accept all major credit and debit cards, and cash. Payment is due upon completion of your service.

 

4.     Punctuality:

   a).  Please understand that appointment times are limited. If you are running more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, I may, at my discretion, still accommodate you in the remaining time frame or reschedule your service. For repeat offenses of lateness, 50% of the service amount will be imposed as rescheduling charges.

 

    b).  If I do not hear from you for 30 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time, it is considered a “No-Show,” and a negative balance will be added to your account for 100% of the service scheduled. This negative balance must be paid before scheduling another appointment or your appointment will be denied.

 

5.     Illness:  If you are sick or are concerned you are sick, you must reschedule your appointment.

 

6.     Cancellation 

a) 72-Hour Notice Requirement

A minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for all cancellations and reschedules. If you cancel or reschedule within 72 hours of your appointment, a 50% charge of the service amount will be applied. Cancellations or reschedules can be made by calling/texting me at (602) 759-0272 or emailing info@bchairartist.com. If you call and no one is available, please leave a message.

 

b) Consecutive Reschedule Limit

I understand that life happens, and sometimes plans change. That’s why I allow up to two consecutive reschedules for any appointment.

After the second reschedule, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be required to book the appointment again.

If you need to reschedule one more time after paying the deposit, you will forfeit your deposit and will no longer be allowed to book future appointments with me.

This policy ensures fairness and helps me accommodate all clients effectively.

 

c) Annual Cancellation Limit

To keep everything running smoothly, clients are allowed a maximum of three cancellations per calendar year. After the third cancellation, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be required to book any future appointments.

 

 7. Refunds

 

a) No Refunds on Services

There are no refunds on any hair services provided. My goal is to ensure that you leave feeling happy and confident with your hair. If you are unsatisfied with the result, I am happy to make adjustments within 7 days of your appointment. Please contact me, and I will gladly review and make necessary adjustments.

 

b) Non-Refundable Deposits

If a deposit is required to book your appointment due to multiple cancellations or reschedules, please note that:

All deposits are non-refundable.

Deposits are required to secure your appointment time and will be applied toward your total service cost.

If you cancel or reschedule after paying a deposit, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.

 

These policies are in place to protect my time and ensure I can continue to offer the best experience to all clients.

 

7.     Redo Appointments.

    a)  If you ever feel like you are not completely satisfied with my service, please let me know during your appointment or within 7 days after your service has been performed. If I’m notified of your wish for an adjustment, I will consider scheduling you for an adjustment. The price of this adjustment may vary depending on our interpretation of the specific circumstances and can range from no charge, to cost of the product only, to full price.

 

b)  Please note that this Agreement does not cover a change in the style or color from the initial request as that would be considered a whole new service in contrast to an adjustment or redo.

 

8.     Right to Refuse Service: The safety of my clients and me is paramount. As such, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone I feel may pose a health or safety risk. This includes but is not limited to lice, skin infections, open wounds, contagious illness (continuous cough, displaying fever symptoms), or displays of any rude/obnoxious or otherwise inappropriate behavior. I will demand that you leave my salon and you will be prohibited from returning.

 

9.     Product Returns: Product returns will only be accepted for unopened/unused or lightly used merchandise. You will receive a full credit towards your next appointment if you notify me of the return request within 15 days of your purchase.

 

10.     Guests, Minors, and Pets:

    a)  Only those with appointments will have reserved spots to be seated.

 

b)  My salon is not child or pet-proof. Hot styling tools, sharp scissors, chemicals, and a busy salon can become a safety hazard.

 

c)  I also ask that you refrain from bringing any pets other than service animals into the salon. Please advise me in advance if you will be accompanied by a service animal.


 

11.     Limitation of Liability: You shall not hold Brandy Chavez liable and agree to indemnify me for any harm, claim, loss, costs, damage, injury, or product reaction to any person or property arising, either directly or indirectly from my service, or any other reason whatsoever.

 

12.     Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Agreement must first attempt to be resolved by means of meaningful informal negotiations between Brandy Chavez Hair Stylist and you. The period for informal negotiations shall be 30 days from receipt of the written notice of dispute unless such time is modified by written agreement between us. In the event that we cannot resolve a dispute through informal negotiations, we agree to submit the dispute to mediation. Within  30 days following the expiration of the time period for informal negotiations, either Party shall propose and agree upon a neutral and otherwise qualified mediator. In the event either of us fails to agree upon a mediator, either Party shall request that the American Arbitration Association, Phoenix, AZ, appoint a mediator and the mediation will be held in Phoenix, Az, or another mutually agreed venue.

 

13.     Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws in the State of Arizona.

 

14.     Entire Agreement. This Agreement represents all the terms and conditions agreed upon between us. No other    understanding or representations, oral or otherwise regarding the Agreement shall bind any of us. This Agreement may not be amended, except in writing, and signed by both of us. In any action or proceeding involving a dispute between Brandy Chavez Hairstylist and you arising out of this Agreement, the prevailing party will be entitled to receive from the losing party reasonable attorney’s fees.
